The fragrances of jasmine flowers scent our organic lot of Jasmine Silver Tip. Grown in Fujian Province, Silver Tip is a Yin Hao Jasmine style green tea; note the abundance of silver buds and its rich green leaves. Traditionally, the jasmine flower petals used to scent the tea are removed from the finished tea. Jasmine scented teas are often given as gifts or served with meals around the holidays and New Years.
The base green tea is naturally sweet and has enough body to match well with the jasmine scent. The scenting was done deftly so the taste is quite natural and smooth. The finish is quite good.
It is made using small leaf varietal. Higher grades are plucked early in the spring and have a high content of silver leaves or unopened buds. The leaf is indirectly or slowly dried to preserve the flavor of the leaf and maintain its natural shape. The leaves are then kept cool until the jasmine flowers blossom later in the summer. The timing of the jasmine harvest is critical to get just the right scent and sweetness.
The taste is sweet and smooth. The jasmine scent is natural, sweet, and not too strong, making the tea soothing and pleasingly balanced. Good for everyday use and always a relaxing cup.

A flowering perennial, Peppermint is known primarily for its healthful properties as well as its use in food as a flavoring. Highly aromatic, it offers cleansing properties primarily in the stomach and intestines as well as relief from headache and heartburn. Steeped, the leaf yields a complex flavor that is both refreshing and stimulating. Known as well to aid in digestion. Peppermint is non-caffeinated.

Our Yunnan black is a Dian Hong style black tea. It is single origin and grown organically in the higher elevations of Yunnan Province. Often referred to as the "mocha of tea", it is full-bodied and offers a malty flavor with a delicate spiciness. As the leaves are large and "soft" they yield a lush, full-flavored tea that will cup to a rich, russet-red color. This bright, clean coloration well exemplifies the process of oxidization of the leaf and thus its denotation as a Dian Hong or "red" tea in China. Yunnan Black is widely enjoyed as a breakfast black tea. It can be served with milk and sugar.
Lot Notes.
We look for two things in selecting this tea. Cultivation using organic practices is our priority. Along with this, the taste must be rich, malty and sweet. The craftsmanship in processing was evident by the tea's appearance – the leaves are consistent in size with a nice accentuation of golden bud. Its distinctive clear, russet-red cup color reflects the skill in the oxidization process with a resulting clean "red" liquor color offering plenty of flavor. Harvest date is 2025.

This black is made to the Dian Hong style. Classic methods of cultivation, harvesting and processing are applied to make this unique tasting tea with all its wonderful taste attributes. The leaves are single origin, organic and grown at high elevation. Yunnan style black teas are often held to develop complexity in flavor as they age.
Tasting Notes.
Leaves will steep to creamy and malty sweet notes with a thirst quenching sweetness in the finish. Taste is clean and lingering. Some flavor of caramel and certainly spice.

flowers are harvested at the peak of freshness. Chamomile (Matricaria recutita) is a flower blossom widely used for calming purposes and to soothe the digestive tract. Most often prepared as an infusion, regular use of Chamomile is considered to support digestive health. Aromatic, these daisy-like flowers steep to a scent and flavors of apple and pineapple and the cup is naturally sweet. Our Chamomile is premium grade, organically grown in Croatia. The flower is dried for its use as a tisane. It also can be steeped strong to make a tincture.
